Did you know?

  • Sydney Peppermint is a common tree in the sandstone gorges around Sydney. Oil distilled from the leaves of this tree was one of the first products of the original Sydney Cove settlement, with a shipment being sent to England aboard one of the returning ships of the First Fleet.  Find out more about tree species found in New South Wales.
